My Services
Barbara’s Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork is a one person business with several years of experience. In 2009 I started with a franchise group that gave me the opportunity to grow my massage style, confidence, and education. In 2012 I added Reiki to my list of modalities and I have enjoyed watching the added benefit to the physical body through energy work as well. In 2016, I started my own practice and have continued to enjoy the opportunities my clients give me!

Relaxation Massage
Relaxation massage is a firm but gentle pressure used to ease muscle tension and induce more of a relaxing state of being to help relieve stress and promote other health benefits.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is designed to remove severe tension in muscle groups and the connective tissue around them. The pressure is firm to deep pressure with more detailed focus to specific muscle groups.

Cranial Sacral
Cranial Sacral is a very deep but subtle modality that works with the cerebral spinal fluid and only requires 5 grams of pressure. When our body takes on any form of trauma it has the potential to effect the cerebral spinal fluid and begin to create certain dis-ease's. With cranial sacral your neck, back, and hips will begin to feel more loose and free.

Geriatric & Oncology Massage
Geriatric massage is for the elderly population that can not handle a full hour massage due to the discomforts of our Golden Years. Oncology Massage is for the population that is having to go through some form of therapy for their fight with cancer. Geriatric and Oncology massage is generally a light relaxation massage that can be customized to be done in 30 or 45 minute sessions.

Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage is designed to relieve the physical discomforts of pregnancy, such as back pain, leg cramps, swollen ankles and exhaustion. The body goes through many changes during a pregnancy and not only physical. With me we will be doing side lying massage with pillows for added comfort.
